A ‘Collecting the Troubles and Beyond’ exhibition by National Museums Northern Ireland
Runs from 5 – 30 June
Martin Nangle’s photographs provide a remarkably evocative record of life during turbulent times in Belfast. He worked as a photo-journalist and had a particular interest in the relationship between place, culture and identity and how this can be recorded and explored visually. The Ulster Museum recently acquired a collection of his work as part of their new initiative called ‘Collecting the Troubles and Beyond’.
