Eavan Boland: Inside History and Washing Windows? Irish Women Write Poetry
Of Mouth presents the launch and discussion of a volume of poems and critical essays commissioned in celebration of Boland’s profound influence – both as poet, and as critical voice. With Nessa O’Mahony and Siobhán Campbell, editors of Eavan Boland: Inside History (Arlen House, 2017).
In addition, this event launches Washing Windows? Irish Women Write Poetry (Arlen House, 2017) an anthology marking the 40th anniversary of Arlen House, Ireland’s chief feminist press. In honour of poet Eavan Boland and Arlen House founder Catherine Rose, Editor Alan Hayes celebrates the work of 100 contemporary poets – both emerging and established – with select readings from the publication.
